Product Description
Anti-Freeze Working Principle
In normal operation, the dry sprinkler utilizes a pipe plug with an elastic sealing gasket at the inlet to block water from entering the connection pipe. This is crucial for protecting the system in sub-zero temperatures.
In the event of a fire, the heat causes the 68°C glass bulb to burst. The bulb seat falls away, and the internal compressed spring extends, pushing the seal open. This action allows water from the heated zone to flow through the sprinkler and suppress the fire immediately.
Customization for Cold Storage
When a wet system protects a cold storage area, the low internal temperature can freeze stagnant water in standard pipes. Our dry sprinklers solve this by keeping the water back in the heated space until activation. To accommodate different wall or ceiling thicknesses, the exposed length of the outer barrel can be customized upon request.
